In this episode of The Profitable Practice Podcast, I interview my client Jenna Priestap to debrief after her first wellness program launch. During this time, Jenna had not yet even finished her licensing requirements to practice as an ND, but still found a way to help her people and start her business!
Think You Can’t Start Your Business Because You’re Not Fully Licensed Yet? Think Again.
While it’s true that you cannot practice your profession without a license and there are some very real boundaries to be respected, there is nothing holding you back from starting your business!
Just because you are not licensed yet doesn’t mean you have to sit on your hands while you wait for all the paperwork to come though. It also doesn’t mean you can’t start your business and sell education.
I knew I need to bring today’s guest, Jenna Priestap, on to the show, because she’s not even a licensed practitioner yet. She’s still a STUDENT and she’s just making it happen. If we want to make something happen in our business, Jenna is a perfect example on how to do that.
My business coaching client Jenna decided to hustle and use this valuable window of time to create a 10 day challenge and launch her group wellness program focussed on diet and lifestyle education for her community of moms.
I have to say, Jenna is the very definition of “being coachable”. Basically every time I said “Okay, this is what you gotta do…” She says “DONE”. No worries or “buts”. No hesitation. She just made it happen. Even LIVE videos! Believe me, she was doing a lot of these things for the first time too… she’s fearless!
Tune in to hear her story and how you can do it too!

On creating her first group wellness program:
“Originally, I thought giving more would be more value, but actually it was just more overwhelm… and most people don’t follow through with big programs due to the overwhelm. Overwhelm leads to feeling defeated and then they don’t want to do it anymore. So, we broke things down and step-by-step actionable pieces, and so far so good!”
