In this episode of The Profitable Practice Podcast, I share the strategy that has worked for me in cultivating patience while I built my practice.
Feeling like you’re practice isn’t growing fast enough?
You’re not alone.
Listener Liz asks, “How can we practice patience while we build our profitable practice?”
Whether you’re a new practitioner or an experienced one, we all have our moments when we can acutely feel the lack of momentum in the growth of our practice. It’s easy to let this spiral from impatience to anxiety, to frenetic activity and then finally full overwhelm as our to-do list grows.
Tune in for my stance and strategies for growing your practice… without the drama.
In This Episode:
[0:38] Listener question – Liz asks: “How do we practice patience when we are building a profitable practice?”
[1:48] Adopt the mindset that you are in this for the long-haul and invest in the training and developing the skills you need to build a business.
[4:20] Have you clearly outlined a simplified business flow to get new patients in the door?
[7:05] Simplicity allows for better focus and reduces overwhelm and anxiety… it also helps you figure out what works faster and more clearly.
[9:53] Don’t waste your time grasping at anything you can just for the sake of “feeling busy”.
[10:55] On being an entrepreneur whether you like it or not doesn’t mean doing it all yourself… it means acknowledging where you need guidance and help and then getting that support.
[13:28] Really asking where this question is coming from… Figure out where your business is broken, where you are wasting your time, where the pressure and noise is getting to you AND THEN find a way to get control over those things as quickly as you can.
